Affiliate Networks

Affiliate marketing is one of the best way to earn money online. All you have to do is to promote the affiliate links of the merchants that have approved you. There are many affiliate networks for you to choose from. Today I shall bring you through a list of worthy affiliate networks that you can consider joining.

Must Join

These are the giants in the affiliate network.

Clickbank - Promote digital products like software and ebooks. I myself have bought a couple of products from Clickbank that helps to autopilot some of my websites. The commissions showed up almost instantaneously. Cons: As a non-US affiliate marketer, the payment check (or cheque) takes 21 days to clear in my country and also not forgetting the surcharges by the banks.

Commission Junction - Set up is either pay per sale and/or pay per lead depending on the merchants. Many big names companies like Apple Store have affiliate programs here. Promote with the affiliate links, banners, and coupons provided. Cons: Sometimes delay in reporting of commissions. Like Clickbank, the payment check (or cheque) takes 21 days to clear in my country and also not forgetting the surcharges by the banks.

Linkshare - Linkshare is giving Commission Junction a run for their money. They also have their fair share of notable companies like Walmart. Cons: Payment is by check also.

Maybe You Should Join

Dealdotcom - Affiliates promote one deal one day. The digital products are sold for only 24 hours or on a while stocks basis whichever come first. Dealdotcom work on a two-tier network and pays their affiliates with Paypal or Check.

Paydotcom - Have a setup which is very similar to Clickbank. Sell primarily digital products also. The good thing is Paydotcom pays their affiliates using paypal.

ShareaSale - Love their free datafeeds and coupons update.

Other Networks

Fine Clicks - Pay per lead, pay per click and pay per sale.

Affiliate marketing in my opinion is one of the best method to get your income from the Internet. You do not have to package the item and ship it like an eBay seller does. All you have to do are promote the links and receive the commissions.

Update 11 March 2008: I’m currently testing out NeverBlueAds after hearing rave reviews from affiliate marketers in many forums. So far the offers seem great. They took a few days to review my application. A phone interview is neccessary. An affiliate manager will call you and ask you what will be your promotion. It only took about 2 minutes for the phone interview.
