Maximize Your Building Space With Building Wraps

Building wraps can be used to advertise not only your business, but another business as well. Remember those painted barns you saw on the interstate? They have evolved into building wraps that are a very effective form of advertising.

Unlike the hand painted barns, the building wraps are designed using state of the art technology. If you own a building, you might as well get the most for your money by advertising on one wall. The building wraps consist of decals that can, in some cases, be easily removed.

Why allow your building to just sit there without any sort of advertising? You can be making money if you choose to advertise on the side of your building. You no longer should look at your building as just a building, but a giant billboard, just waiting for graphics.

With some building wraps, you can change the graphics. Others are more permanent as they are hand painted mural. If you are advertising your business, you can use the building wraps that are more permanent. If you are using building wraps to advertise another business, you can use a temporary decal.

You an charge another business to allow you to advertise for them. This way you can make the most out of your business space. If you decide to make the building an advertising tribute to your business, you can still make the most of your building space by allowing everyone to know more about your business instead of just the name and phone number.

Think of all the buildings that you pass each day. Most of them are plain and do not make use of their space. By devoting a wall to building wraps, they can be making money or at least advertising their brand.

The reason that businesses advertise on billboards is to give more exposure to their business. However, you should not look only to billboards as advertising vehicles. Building wraps make it easy to advertise on the side of any building.

In addition to advertising on the outside of the building, building wraps can also work well on the inside of your building. Detail graphics and lettering will allow your business to stand out on the inside as well. Visitors can be treated to a mural on a wall or, if you have a business in a shopping mall, you can have the graphics on your awning or front space.

Building wraps can be on the inside or outside and come in a variety of different options. They are a nice alternate, or perhaps an addition, to billboard advertising.

No longer should you allow your building space to go to waste. Building wraps are not only economical, but they are a very effective form of advertising. People are very visual and the new technology combined with a classic idea offered by building wraps really gives them something to look at. The advertising revenue will be well worth the price if you can manage to establish your business and brand using building wraps.

Narrowcasting Networks as Additional Revenue Streams

The term ‘narrowcasting” refers to the distribution of multimedia content – pictures, moving images or animation and sound – to arrays of monitors in specific locations, or even to individual monitors. Evermore frequently arrays of monitors can be seen in waiting rooms, in office lobbies, in public transit and in elevators – virtually anywhere people congregate - narrowcasting mixtures of infomercials, news, feature stories and advertisements to so-called captive audiences. These narrowcasting networks – whether they are to an individual plasma or LCD monitor, or to a whole array of monitors – typically serve one of two purposes, each of which is designed to increase revenues.

Firstly, narrowcasting networks can be used as vehicles to deliver advertising and marketing for products and services sold at a particular location. For example, in a dentist’s waiting room short segments touting new developments in cosmetic dentistry can highlight new revenue-generating services and products offered by the dentist. As narrowcast networks become more sophisticated, marketing content can pinpoint the products and services that are promoted based on such factors as the time of day, day of the week or the month and season, all depending on the metrics of the viewing audience for the particular network.

At the opposite side of the narrowcasting network spectrum, are networks set up in staging areas, like waiting rooms, lobbies or even sports arenas, where there is a more-or-less captive audience who can be enticed to watch advertisements interspersed amongst short news and entertainment pieces. Advertisers are increasingly buying advertising spots on such dedicated narrowcast networks to promote their clients varied products and services. Again, the more focused the demographic audience, the more specifically the ad content on these networks can be focused. Depending on the metrics of the viewing audience such localized advertising can command a premium price. Such networks can provide significant additional revenue streams for the building or venue owner who operates a commercial narrowcast network.

An interesting mixture of these two predominant models for commercial narrowcasting is found in the retail petroleum industry. On gas pumps across the globe, motorists queuing up to fill their tanks watch monitors that are activated at the beginning of the fill up. During the three or four minutes the customer is filling up or topping up the tank news, sports and entertainment items are interspersed with clips advertising value-added products and services available for purchases, as well as advertisements for varied products ranging from financial services to travel promotions.

The flexibility of narrowcasting in the petroleum industry not only allows a particular audience (i,e,, motorists) to be targeted, but it allows the owner-operators to hand tailor their marketing message for the time of day, season, weather and a host of other variables. In the morning, coffee and breakfast sandwiches available inside the service centre can be promoted. On sunny days car washes can be featured, and during the fall and early winter anti-freeze and snow tires can be promoted. For service centre operators, gas pump narrowcasting represents offers a not-altogether unique opportunity to increase revenues by boosting sales of related products as well as by generating revenue from marketing and advertising third party products and services.

As advances in digital advertising software technology and improved audience metric techniques allow advertisers to focus their messages on target audiences, narrowcast advertising will only increase. Businesses and service providers of all stripes have the potential for adding to their company’s revenue stream, or adding additional revenue streams by marketing for third party advertisers, by setting up narrowcasting networks wherever a “captive” audience is found – whether that is in an airport lounge, at the gas pump, or in a doctor’s office.

Website Traffic Basics - Doing it the Right Way

There are many things that you can do to increase your website traffic. Traffic is the basis of everything on the internet because if no one visits your website or blog, what’s the point of creating it? Your affiliate program will bring in little to no money if you do not have enough visitors.

Write Articles

By uploading new articles to your affiliate website, you are creating fresh content. This means that search engine spiders will visit and see that you have original content that is not duplication from another website. Besides bringing in new visitors, writing articles helps you to have repeat traffic. People will keep coming back to your website if they like the information that you post regularly.

Article Directories and Ezines

When you have written some articles, you can rewrite them so that they are different from the ones on your website or you could pay to have someone write new articles that you can submit to ezines and articles directories. The reason for posting to these places is that you are allowed to place your information and website link. When people read your articles, many will click to your webpage because generally the article is something to similar to what the affiliate site category is. This is another way to have one way links to your affiliate pages.

Post In Forums

If you participate in forums, you can check the rules to see what they say about signatures. A signature is the space below the messages typed in forums posts. Many users will have a logo or picture and others will place a link to an affiliate, website or their personal blogs. Due to the fact that many have spammed forums with affiliate links, a lot of them have rules against placing those links in your signature.

That is why having a webpage for you affiliates is a great idea. If you have a website with articles and content, you will likely be allowed to place the link. Allows check the rules because you will be banned in most cases if you break them.

Pay for Advertisement

You can receive traffic by paying for it in a few different ways. Just be certain that you understand that paying for traffic is no guarantee that you will actually receive it. Using a Pay Per Click (PPC) program for instance can end up costing you a lot of money in a short amount of time. Every time someone clicks on your link, you will have to pay. Malicious webmasters began to click on their competitors links repeatedly to drive up their cost of business.

Another problem is that if you bypass the PPC and instead go with a company that sells traffic by the hundreds or thousands, you have no idea where this traffic is coming from or if it’s even real. You can waste a lot of money if the traffic is being made by a bot or if the company is sending you traffic from Iceland when the product is only available to Europe or the United States.

Some people also pay for traffic by paying popular websites to allow them to place a banner or link back to their site. Your ad is usually left in place for a prepaid amount of time like a week or a month. This can be a great idea because you’re not limited to pay by the amount of visitors.

Create A Newsletter

You can increase your website traffic and get new or repeat visitors by offering a newsletter. Unlike your website, a newsletter is sent to visitors at your site who decided to signup to receive it via email. You can then pay to have someone write interesting articles, you can keep your visitors up to date with your affiliate sales, and interesting news or you can send articles from free article directories because you won’t be penalized by the search engines.

Submit To Search Engines

Even though search engines spiders come to new sites to crawl it and add it to the site, this does not always happen. You should add your website to the major search engines yourself, after it has been created and has a bit of information. You don’t want to go around submitting a website that has one page with the words under construction.

Don’t fall for the search engine submission tricks. If you do a search, you will find that many websites are claiming that they will submit your page to hundreds, sometimes thousands of search engines. The truth is that there are a few major search engines, and the others tend to get their information from those larger ones. Submitting your website a thousand times is absolutely unnecessary.

Exchange Links

Another great way to get traffic is to exchange links with websites that are similar in category to your own. This can sometimes feel like you are sharing with the enemy, your competitors, but your visitors will find your competitors the same way you did, if they really wanted to. By exchanging links and even getting one way links, will also help to boost your website in the search engine rankings.

How to Increase Your Google Adwords Quality Score Fast

Laser-targeted website traffic is known as the biggest gem in generating wealth in an Internet based venture or E-commerce. The most important factor for a website is to be visited by people who are interested in the product or service the website promotes. It is critical to make sure your site is aesthetically pleasing to visitors when creating a site. If your website does not capture any traffic, it is on a sure path to failure.

With targeted visitors arriving at your website, you are highly likely to generate sales, which means profit. History shows that many web ventures have failed in the past. It does not matter if your company is blue-chip or start-up. A start-up business has the same likelihood of success as a large business.

Google Adwords is an excellent way to generate laser-targeted traffic, and send visitors who are interested in your product to your site. The great thing about Google Adwords is that it is a level playing field, the large and small business compete on the same ground. Recently, Google implemented new algorithms into their Google Adwords system, which means things have changed for you, the advertisers. You now have to make sure your website is relevant to the ads you are displaying on Google. When you list an ad on Google Adwords, the Google computers computate a ‘Quality Score’ based on how relevant they think your landing page is to your advert, and this will affect the cost-per-click that Google offers you. This article will show you how to maximise your Quality Score, and thus minimise your cost-per-click, therefore increasing your overall profits.

Google Adwords’ Quality Score has often been a closed book to many online marketers. But many Adwords gurus agree that there are 3 main components to achieving a high Quality Score and lowering your minimum cost per click.

1. Your ad copy.

2. Your clickthrough rates (CTR).

3. Your landing page copy.

Here are 4 simple steps you can take to boost your Quality Score and reduce your costs per click:

1. Include Your Keywords In Your Ad Copy

Including your keywords in your ad title and body copy is one of the keys to writing a relevant ad. Also, this simple move makes your keywords bolded and gives it more prominence among the listings, improving your CTR and lowering your costs per click. It’s a ‘venomous’ cycle!

2. Include Your Keywords In Your URL

This has been proven to increase CTR, which is the strongest measure of a good Quality Score.

3. Include Your Keywords On Your Landing Page

Landing page relevancy is also a critical element of Quality Score. Having your keywords on your landing page indicates relevancy and it allows you to pay lower costs per click.

4. Increase Your Clickthrough Rates By Split-Testing Your Ad Copy

Write 2 different ads and have them display in a 50:50 ratio. You can do this under your Campaign settings. Doing this will allow to view which ad has a superior clickthrough rate. Create new ads often to test against your ‘control’ ad, or your current best performing ad.

Ali is an expert at Pay Per Click Marketing and has reviewed the best keyword research software, which he uses every day, at his website: http://www.i4unow.com/keywords/a.asp.

Domain TLD and Trademark Myths

I started buying and selling domain names in 1995. Domain speculation began sometime in 1994. I did appraisals and was one of the biggest advocates for registering generic domain names rather than made-up names or those that violated trademarks.

I made a good income from my domains because I did not just sell domain names, I sold domain names that had a business plan and a website while others were just trying to sell their domain names with no traffic, no business plan and no website.

Today many are still doing it that way. Although now they park them at SEDO or Go Daddy or somewhere to try to make adsense revenue while they list them for sale. So my background in domain names is good enough that I can dispel a few myths.

First TLD stands for Top Level Domain. .COM, .NET, .ORG are all examples of TLDs. The domain name most people refer to is what goes before the dot. The TLD is what comes after the dot.

These are some Common Myths about Domain Names;

.TV is for television or multimedia websites. Pure myth. Any domain name in any TLD can work for television, video, or multimedia. The TLD .TV does not give you any special tools for creating multimedia-rich content. .TV does not stand for television. It is the ccTLD or country-code TLD for Tuvalu Island. An island in the pacific that had no real use for owning a TLD so they sold the rights to sell domain names on their TLD to a company that leads people to believe it stands for television. It works. People buy them and use them and associate them with television and that is ok. It’s just a myth that .TV was created to mean television.

Another Domain Name Myth: If you want to build websites that people can access by their cell phone or PDA you need to get a .MOBI domain name. Just like dot tv does not give you any special capability for television or multimedia, dot mobi does not give you any special tools for mobile-capable websites. Any website on any TLD can provide content to cell phones and PDAs if it is made compatible for them. Many will lead you to believe that dot mobi somehow gives you the advantage when it comes to cell phones and PDAs. it doesn’t.

.ME Domain Names Myth: Coming soon to a domain registrar near you. Soon domain names will be marketing for the TLD dot ME. They will market them as great domain names for personal websites. They may be. But it was not created as such. It is the Country-code top-level domain designated for Montenegro.

.PN Domain Names: I own Blogs.pn. I would love to tell you it stands for Publisher network or something like that but it doesn’t. It is the Country-code top-level domain designated for Pitcairn Island. Another pacific island that did not have much use for a TLD so someone was authorized to sell dot pn domain names.

Soon ICANN will be allowing more TLDs to be created and domain names will be marketed in these new TLDs. More and more countries will also offer domain names for sale in their ccTLDs. So the market will be opening up and it may be confusing to some. The truth is what comes before the dot matters most. Getting a domain name in a TLD that makes sense to users can help you though.

Shorter Domain Names are better than Long Domain Names Myth: Only in certain circumstances is a shorter domain name better than a long domain name. Many domain gurus disagree. I don’t care. They talk about people being able to remember your domain name. Truthfully more traffic comes from people clicking links in search engines, on other websites, and on social bookmarking sites than comes from people who type in the domain name.

What is more important is that the domain name help you capture a phrase you want to target in the search engines. I can give you a ton of examples where having the exact phrase you want in the domain name has helped get a top position in Google and other search engines. So if the phrase is longer, do not abbreviate it just because you heard shorter domain names are better. Get the phrase you want to target.

If you are planning to advertise your domain name OFFLINE, in advertising on TV, radio, or even magazines and newspapers, shorter domain names ARE better. Offline, people have to be able to remember your domain name.

The best of both worlds: If most of your traffic comes from the web, shorter means very little. To cover both, get a domain name that matches your key phrase and put your website on that domain name. Then get a second domain name that is short and catchy and redirect or point it to the same website. Use the shorter-easy-to-remember domain name for your offline marketing and the domain that matches your key phrase for the search engines.

Anything other than a dot COM is worthless Myth: This is a favorite myth spread everywhere. It is based on the same myths about shorter domain names. If people have to remember it, then yes, they do remember dot com more often. If you are doing offline marketing, use a dot com.

Online your website can be on any TLD. People are clicking links. So again, get the domain name that matches your key phrase for your website whether it is on .com, net, org, tv, pn, cc, ws, or whatever. Start with dot com, try your phrase. If it is taken, move to the next TLD and try your phrase again. If it is taken, repeat your attempts to register until you find a TLD that your phrase IS available in and register it in that TLD.

These are some Myths about Trademarks and Domain Names;

Domain Name VS Trademark Myth #1: If I own a trademark I need to register my trademarked name in every TLD. Pure Myth and a worthless, time-consuming strategy promoted by Intellectual Property Lawyers who need to justify what you are paying them.

Domain Name VS Trademark Myth #2: When you register a trademark, you have to choose a classification for that trademark such as “entertainment television”, “clothing and apparel”, “beverages”, etc.

You do not own the phrase you trademark. You are being allowed to use that trademark in commerce within the classification you chose. Someone else can register the same exact trademark and choose a different classification.

In addition to that, the geographical area you registered your mark in only covers that area. Someone could have the same trademark in the same classification in a different geographical location.

So again, you do not own the phrase you trademarked, so no need to register every TLD in existence. It could even be construed as anti-competitive business practice to do so.

Domain Name VS Trademark Myth #3: If you chose the trademark, “goofball lawyer stuff” and chose the classification “clothing and apparel”, I could still register the domain name http://goofballlawyerstuff.com or net or org or whatever.

As long as I do not sell clothing or apparel, link to anyone who sells clothing and apparel, or try to confuse people into believing my website is owned by you, I have not violated your trademark rights. Get over it.

I hope this helps you dispel a few of the most common domain name and trademark myths you may have been reading about.

Top Tips For Search Engine Optimization With a Free EBook

Looking for top tips on search engine optimization? Then you’re at the right place. Read on to find exciting tips that you can actually use!

If you’re interested in gaining a high ranking for your web site, then you should be interested in search engine optimization. By working on improving your ranking at the top engines, you can generate larger amounts of traffic and higher revenue for your site.

Below are some strategies that can help you increase your rankings through search engine optimization.

1. Pick the best keywords – No matter how much SEO work you do, if you choose the wrong keywords then you won’t see the results you want. The keywords have to be appropriate which means they need to be the same words your potential customers might have used to find your product or service. Choose wisely.

2. Keep your content fresh – Although you may not want to change the main text of your site on a regular basis, it’s a good idea to have a blog or a news section where you can continually update the content. Having new content on a regular basis will help you rank higher with the search engines.

3. Use keywords but not too much – Have you ever stumbled onto a page that you immediately know was written for search engine optimization because it’s just filled with fluff dotted with the same few words over and over again? These pages are frustrating to people on multiple levels. For one, they are annoying because if you’re serious about finding information or a product you don’t want to waste time at a useless page like this. Plus, they can lower legitimate pages in the rankings, at least temporarily. Eventually, these pages fall down the rankings which is another reason to keep your keyword density to around 1% to 2% which means your keyword would appear 5 to 10 times in 500 word article.

4. Pay attention to your URLs – On some of the inner pages of your site, the URLs may be very lengthy. This is a common problem with big sites and eCommerce sites. Unfortunately, those long URLs can sometimes hurt your rankings and certainly make it difficult for users to return to at a later date.

5. Have a solid landing page – Make sure the first page of your site visitors will see immediately grabs them and shows them why this page is relevant to the keyword or phrase for which they were looking. No site visitor wants to search for “cat food nutrition” and land on a page full of ads or other useless content.

6. Avoid elements that can’t help your search engine optimization rankings – Avoid Flash and other multimedia elements on your first pages. These take a long time to load for dial-up users and can discourage them from sticking with your site. Plus, their elements can’t help your rankings anyway because the search engine bots that gather information about your site can’t read them.

By following these tips, you’ll increase the success of your search engine optimization efforts and ensure that your site is going to secure a high ranking at major engines.

These are just a few tips on Search Engine Optimization or SEO. There are lots more in store for you at http://www.goodinternetmoney.com/SEOElite. Log on to get a free eBook and read all about it!

Work at Home Opportunities and Benefits You Should Not Missed

Most people who make the switch to work at home do it to be able to earn an income from home or even to supplement the income they make outside the home.

Extra income when you work at home is appealing to almost everyone, but there is another valuable commodity that you gain when you change your work location to your home office. You gain more productive hours in each day. Even if you have only a 20 -30 minute commute daily, which is the national average, you are spending at least one hour out of every 24 just getting to and from your job. If you add to that the time you spend getting ready personally, you spend another hour. You can add another hour of non-productive time each day spent in lunches, coffee breaks and office chit-chat. At approximately $10 per hour, that’s $150 per week in non productive time, just for the privilege of going somewhere to put in more time.

No more commuting

Imagine instead if you used just the commuting time to do something enjoyable. Go for a walk in the park. Have lunch with your partner. Play with your toddler. When you work at home, you can do some of these things with your time instead of spending hours on the freeway or on a commuter train or bus. Of course, you could also use that hour each day in income producing work, but you don’t have to do so. You have already proved you don’t need to work during that hour.

Enjoy your Free Time

It’s important to use the free time you gain when you work at home to do something enjoyable. You will be healthier, happier and a more well-rounded and interesting person. Your family will appreciate the time you set aside to spend with them. Your circle of friends may even grow as you take up new activities and meet new people. This can all happen without you having to carve time out of your day. It is just rescheduling activities that you WANT to do for activities you previously HAD to do.

Schedule your own Work Hours

Another time advantage you gain when you work at home is the ability to schedule your own work hours. You are not required to be ‘on the job’ from 9 to 5 any longer. You can actually accomplish the same work in significantly less time simply because you will work when you are at your peak mentally and physically and spend the rest of the day doing things to recharge your energy. If you find that you get very sleepy around mid afternoon, schedule a short nap at that time or do something totally different to wake up

Multi Tasking

Finally, when you work at home, you will find that you can do some multi tasking very effectively in ways that will give you extra minutes to spend however you wish. For example, put a load of laundry in the washing machine before sitting down at your computer. If you need to sweep the porch, use a voice activated recorder to outline your next work project verbally. You will probably be able to find many other little time tricks that provide you with even more time to enjoy life.

Use the information found at the web site–http://www.goodinternetmoney.com– to add to your Work at Home or Work from Home efficiency, information, and enjoyment. You will find all the latest tips, tricks, suggestions and a free report to learn more.

You must have internet access and a web page, of course, but those usually are not more than a few dollars per month. Some of your other expenses will be significantly less. For example, transportation costs to get to your corporate office could save you hundreds of dollars monthly, by the time you add automobile replacement, repairs, insurance, tires, fuel costs and maintenance fees.

Things to consider

For some people who decide to make money with Adsense, the thought of spending so much time on the computer daily may be enough to change their mind. In addition, you must be a self-starter. The only boss you will have to answer to is yourself. At the same time, if you work best between 1 am and 3 am, you can set your work hours to match your lifestyle.

Learning Curve

In order to make money with Adsense, you will need to invest some time and money into learning about the program and how best to make it work for you. A good tutorial e-book or e-course will solve that issue for you very quickly. You must study and understand the book though, before you can expect to put the principles into practice on your own web page. There are some very good mentors available to help you work the Adsense program, some of whom are fairly inexpensive or even free.

Investment required?

To make money with Adsense requires only a limited investment, although some people continue to purchase educational materials in the hope of finding that one trick which will make the revenue double overnight. You will need a good learning manual. You will need a computer with internet access. You will need a web page or access to a web page. Other than that, you will need to make an investment in your future by spending the time researching and learning how to operate the program effectively.
