19 August 2007 Manchester City vs Manchester United Preview

A little bit of my interest. I’m a great Manchester United fan since I was in primary school. Honestly, I was riding the wave as Man Utd was dominating the Premier League during that era.
Last season, Man Utd finally wrestled the title back from the then defending champion Chelsea. Sadly, Man Utd went into this new season 07/08 with two draws in their first games. Could it be a timely affair for them to secure their first win of the season by beating city rivals Man City? A win in this derby will definitely boost the morale of the players and fans alike.
Man City has found an experienced tactician in Manager Sven Goran Eriksson. He has already won his first two games and looks set to maintain Man City winning run.
We could also get to see Kasper Schmeichel playing in goal for Man City. His father Peter Schmeichel is one of the world best player who ply his trade for Man Utd during the nineties.

As a Man Utd fan, I’m looking forward to see Carlos Tevez making his second start of the season. I have missed his debut game against Portsmouth and will make it up by watching it today. I’m hopeful for a Man Utd win in order to get back in track for the coveted Premier League title.
